The summer holidays are around the corner and we have put together some exciting activities for you!
SEA LIFE Berlin
Dive into the fascinating underwater world at SEA LIFE Berlin and enjoy unique and exciting insights into the beautiful world of the seas. Discover over 5000 fascinating creatures in 37 lifelike freshwater and saltwater pools. Follow the course of the water from the sources of the river Spree to the depths of the Atlantic. A trip for the whole family in the middle of the capital!
JUMP House Berlin
The largest trampoline in the capital: a total of 11 varied attractions await you on an area of 4,000 square meters. One highlight you have to experience is the Sky Ninja - a climbing course at a height of 11 meters with zip lines through the hall. JUMP House Berlin also has cool challenge areas, team action and games for an unforgettable family time together.
Street Art in Berlin
Urban art not only changes the images of the city but is also an expression of the current zeitgeist. People have been spraying and tagging in Berlin since the 70s. Originally an expression of youthful protest, street art is now an established art form in Berlin. East Side Gallery, once the Berlin Wall and now the longest open-air gallery in the world, houses 1.3 kilometres of amazement. With more than a hundred paintings, you can truly see and experience the art history of Berlin.
Canoe Tour ‘Walking on Water’
“Berlin is built from the boat”, a local proverb says. Next to the river Spree, several channels cross the city. 150 years ago, freshly burnt bricks and wood were brought to the building sites of the rapidly growing city by water. On the canoe tour of Berlin, you paddle from the Island of Youth into town, with the Television Tower always in sight. You then stop briefly at the large sculpture “Molecule Men”. The 30-meter-high men made of aluminium seem to pass lightly over the water and join hands.
We hope this article makes for a fun summer family holiday in Berlin, full of activities. If you want to find out more about Mentora Gymnasium, you can make an appointment and visit our school or take part in one of the regular open days we host
